How to Do it Yourself Unique Christmas ornaments is a short blog filled with tips on how to make your own Christmas ornaments using predesigned templates from artists all around world. You get to upload your favorite photos, customize text areas and background colors; resulting in a very personal and unique gift. Literally no one else in the world will have the same design. How cool is that!
We will use 3 sample templates, each with a different degree of customization difficulty; but don’t worry, after this short tutorial you will be able to tackle any editing and customization project you can think of.
1) Easy: Personalize text areas
For this example I selected this elegant and classic dark green with golden pine trees Christmas ornament. Click on the “personalize this template” prompt, change the text areas with you unique message and family name.


2) Medium: Uploading your photo is how to Do it Yourself unique Christmas Ornaments
Same steps as before, click on the “personalize this template” prompt, change the text areas with your unique message and family name. But this time the template will have a place holder image or images for you to update with your own photos. For this example, I will use this super festive ceramic Christmas ornament created To the Best Grandparents in the World featuring a red and white Nordic pattern

3) Expert: Position photo in place using the Edit this Design Tool
This very traditional Rustic Red Black Buffalo Check Merry Christmas Ornament will help us in this section. First, personalize message and family name following previous steps. Second, double check all photos are centered. It is okay if they are not. Sometimes our best, most clear photos do not have the same ratio as the placeholder photos. Follow the diagrams below to center or adjust uploaded photos in place.
